We recently had the chance to connect with Missy Feldman and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Missy, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I’ve been really enjoying getting back into yoga and making time for myself. Sound baths and little moments of ‘me time’ have been so healing and bring me a lot of joy lately!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Missy, the founder of No Mess with Missy, a Professional Organizing company based in Scottsdale, AZ. I help busy families, professionals, and anyone feeling overwhelmed by clutter create homes that feel lighter, more functional, and truly supportive of their lifestyle.
What makes my work unique is that I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” organizing. I focus on designing custom systems that are practical, easy to maintain, and tailored to how each person actually lives day-to-day. From decluttering and downsizing to packing, unpacking, and product sourcing, my team and I take the stress out of organizing so clients can spend less time managing their stuff and more time enjoying their homes.
I started No Mess with Missy because I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when someone feels calm and in control of their space. Clutter can weigh us down emotionally and mentally, and helping people let go of that and create fresh energy in their homes is why I love what I do. Right now, I’m also growing my team and expanding into partnerships with realtors, designers, and home service providers, so that clients can get full support during moves and life transitions.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that really shaped how I see the world was moving across the country on my own. Leaving behind everything familiar taught me resilience and how important it is to create a space that truly feels like home, no matter where you are. That experience made me realize how much our environment impacts our mindset and energy.
Later, when I began helping others organize, I saw that same truth play out, clutter isn’t just about stuff, it’s about how we feel in our own space. Watching clients breathe easier once their home was simplified reminded me of how powerful it is to feel grounded and supported where you live. That perspective has shaped not just my business, but how I see the connection between our spaces and our well-being.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: you don’t need to have it all figured out right away. Trust that every step, even the messy or uncertain ones are shaping you into who you’re meant to be. Be patient with yourself, give yourself grace, and know that it’s okay to take up space and go at your own pace.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say I care most about people and helping them feel supported – whether that’s clients gaining peace in their homes, friends getting a listening ear, or my team feeling valued. They’d also say I value authentic connection, reliability, and creating calm (both in spaces and in relationships), and that I’m happiest when I’m making life easier for someone else with a little bit of creativity and humor sprinkled in.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people remember me as someone who made life a little easier, someone who showed up, got the job done, and left homes and hearts calmer than they were before. I’d want people to say I cared deeply, not just about organizing, but about the people behind it all: that I treated clients and my team with kindness, helped them feel supported during stressful times, and created systems that actually made their lives better.
Most of all, I’d love to be remembered for bringing warmth, reliability, and a sense of calm into people’s everyday lives, for making things clearer, lighter, and more possible.
