Meet Tiffany Lee Gaston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Lee Gaston.

Tiffany Lee Gaston is a highly published fitness personality, author and model with recurring appearances on local television networks and has been highly published in the top health and fitness publications internationally. She promotes her own unique brand of fitness, with an emphasis on the discovery of our own best-self and not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Her passion for health and wellness began over 20 years ago when she discovered fitness and truly believes it saved her life. Her memoir, From Broken to Badass, shares the story of the many unhealthy hurdles she faced during her early years and her ultimate desire to rise above her past.

Having competed as a high ranking national level figure athlete, she has additionally graced the covers of 11 magazines along with countless features and self-written articles for such publications as Bodybuilding.com, Oxygen, STRONG, Inside Fitness, Natural Muscle, Health & Fitness, Train, Muscle & Fitness Hers and many more! She has discovered her strength and passion lie in motivating others to seek their own “inner badass.”

Please tell us about your art.
As a writer, I consider my words my art. To carefully craft a story, share a powerful message or simply research a meaningful topic to share with my audience, I find I’m most creative and expressive through my writing.

My body is also my art. As an athlete and fitness model, I have treated my body in such a way that it best represents my passion for health and fitness and also showcases my own daily efforts. I take pride in how I care for myself and find it an act of absolute necessity, not an act of selfishness. In making time to care for myself, I am best able to care for those closest to me as well!

What do you think about the conditions for artists today? Has life become easier or harder for artists in recent years? What can cities like ours do to encourage and help art and artists thrive?
Having a daughter in the music industry, I can see lots of challenges specifically in the way in which music is sold and managed, which is far from fair to its creator these days. From my perspective, as a fitness professional, I also see models willing to work for free, which puts the rest of the industry at a complete disadvantage. I think on all levels we should always seek to support local professionals and business, charge what we know our worth, time, etc. is worth. At the very least that would be a great start!

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
