Swanny, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a child I was raised in foster care and my foster parents were not able to do my hair so I started to show interest and practice on mine and my sisters hair when I got into high school I was able to take a cosmetology class for extra credit and I ended up falling in love with doing here altogether I decided that when I was old enough to get my own salon I would and I did
Has it been a smooth road?
I feel like in the beginning it was hard because I kept trying to go against what I knew God wanted for me doing hair is my passion and once I decided to take you seriously and do it for time it has been the biggest blessing ever getting start it was not easy I wanted to make sure I started my business without debt So I made sure that I paid for everything in cash

My salon offers services to all ethnicities I specialize in sew in extensions Braids eyelash extensions relaxers perms haircuts men’s haircuts children’s hair styles and waxing I make it a big point to offer all my services at a discounted rate that way everyone can feel beautiful without spending their last
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In the next 5 to 10 years I see myself expanding my salon adding more members to the salon having another shop in another state and getting back to the community I also would like to be able to offer discounted services to children in foster care.
