I started my store in 2016 because I recognized an unfulfilled niche. I was Fixer Upper obsessed and was decorating a new home. I found it very tough to find decor that I liked as many items in that decor style are either vintage/antiques or sold in small mom-and-pop brick and mortar shops that aren’t available in Arizona. I couldn’t get anyone to ship anything, and I didn’t have the time to antique. I know people love supporting small and domestic and I really really love supporting that stay at home mom that’s trying to put her daughter through gymnastics, or a couple who is trying to pay for cancer treatments. So I found some people across the country and Canada that handmake their own farmhouse decor and sell/ship it, and they were willing to sell it on my site! My Instagram grew tremendously as the community in this type of space is so amazing and tight-knit, and the rest is history!
Has it been a smooth road?
The biggest struggle was finding people to want to sell on my site. A lot were too busy or couldn’t afford to sell to me at wholesale rates.

We are definitely a niche brand. The stuff that you see on our site, you could never find at a Target or Wayfair. Maybe Etsy, however, our site is niche farmhouse items rather than a large marketplace where you have to sift through hundreds of sellers to find one you like. We cater to people who love farmhouse, modern rustic decor and simply don’t know where to get it.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
I think my favorite memory from childhood is actually a story that my mom tells about me, but I don’t remember. She always says that when we would travel when I was super young – four and five years old, I would completely unpack and lay everything out perfectly and pretend like it was our home. I would organize everyone’s things so that we can be prepared to enjoy our vacation. I love that story because that is literally who I am today, and it’s crazy that something like that is an inborn trait and not learned!
