Nicole, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
While most 12 years old girls were getting the birds and the bees talk, my father, a conservative but imaginative man, decided it was time to share with me the world of spirits. This was in a religious manner as he was highly connected to the church. He explained to me a story about an uncle who was taken over by a spirit. Never before did I know anything beyond the physical world existed. I was horrified.
As soon as my awareness was opened, I was approached and told multiple times as a child that my role here on earth was to cast evil away. I shut that down pretty quickly and lived as normal of a life as I could. Until I turned 23, I was visited by a spirit. I was visited by the father to a man I was dating. At the time I thought he was the only one I could see, and that he had come to be somewhat of a therapist in my relationship lol. I am forever grateful for that first encounter.
But as time went on, I began to dream of friends and families passed relatives as well. I couldn’t interpret the messages, but I knew they were there. For the next year, I began learning how to understand these messages and work with the gift that was given. On the second year, during a work trip to Bali where I was supposed to be teaching cooking classes, I got the nudge that it was time to start relaying these messages to strangers. With full consent on their end of course 🙂
I went on to give 13 readings to 13 people I had never met prior to the conversation. When I returned home, I expanded this to my food page followers on Instagram. I woke up to over 300 messages in my inbox of people wanting to connect to their loved ones. This was the start of Nicole the Medium.
I quit my job as a health food chef and began giving readings full time for the next three years to date. I’ve read hundreds of people and given thousands of messages and still to this day I can say there are no two people alike. Everyone is so unique yet we are all struggling just the same. It has been an honor to be able to do this work and I am so thankful to every person that trusts me into their life.
Has it been a smooth road?
Understanding I’m not crazy. Trusting what I see is real. And delivering the messages properly have been the biggest challenge. Sitting in front of a stranger and telling them about their own life is pretty intimidating. But once that light switch of trusting turns on, it’s magic.
Another challenge- charging. As most people who do even a little bit of what they love for money, it’s hard to unblur that line between, “I’m doing this because I love it” but “I also need to get paid”. And valuing yourself at that perfect price that leaves you feeling replenished after the work is done.
When I was on the other end of receiving readings, and I didn’t have much money, I never understood why a psychic would charge so much for something that seemed to come so effortlessly to them. But what I didn’t realize is, there is a beginning, middle, and an end to a reading. And the part with the client is only the middle!
Once I learned the value of my work, and the results shown from my sessions, I was able to fully and proudly show up for myself and what I charge. It was an extremely challenging hurdle, but none the less an invaluable lesson that was well worth the mental work. For any other freelance/ business owner struggling with that, name your price for what you truly believe you are worth and watch those clients show up happily for you! (ps – you will also get a flood of people telling you you are too expensive, this is when you learn to stand your ground and not sway 🙂 )

I am a psychic medium. Psychic meaning – I receive messages about your life in current time. I don’t need to know anything about you. I don’t even need to see what you look like. Just your name and hearing your voice will suffice.
My specialty is seeing detailed images of your thought patterns, habits, people, places, and things in your life. I see situations that cause you anxiety, depression, and lost feelings of self-worth. I can also see energetically what needs love and attention in the body, and if it’s stemming from an emotional or physical place.
Important ages in your past are a thing too for some reason. i.e… “when you were seven, I can see……” linking you back to a specific time frame that will connect you to an emotional challenge happening in the present.
Medium meaning- delivering messages from your loved ones that have crossed over. Sometimes they have a lot to say. Other times it’s just reminding you of who you are and that they are with you.
I am most proud to (hopefully) be breaking the stereotype of the label psychic medium. It seems my style has always been to keep it grounded and relative. So nobody feels intimidated by this world, and even the most skeptical person can come to see that a greater force is working with them.
What sets me apart from others is well…no two intuitive gifts are the same. Every medium and every psychic has their own way of interpreting and that’s what makes this a competition-free world (for me at least). I trust that everyone that lands in my chair is meant to hear and work with my version of spirit world.

I love that it is home. I can live and travel anywhere and always be welcomed back with open arms. I’d say my least favorite thing is (obviously) the heat. And how outrageous road rage is here lol.
