Thanks for sharing your story with us Kirk and Jamie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
It’s been a winding journey towards opening Prana IV Therapy together, and we are thrilled that everything came together when it did! We are a husband and wife team and first owned a retail shop together back in 2009-2010 where we sold eco-friendly bamboo clothing, sheets, and home goods. We absolutely loved owning a boutique together, but closed it when we had the opportunity to move to Phoenix from the Midwest!
Since 2010, Kirk had been working as an ER RN at multiple hospitals all over the Valley, and eventually started working in the mobile IV therapy industry. We quickly realized there was an opportunity for us to start our own “brick and mortar” IV drip boutique together, with the potential to expand into other niche health services that we were interested in, like oxygen therapy and eventually cryotherapy. I (Jamie) had worked in web design and marketing for 20 years, so we put our skill sets together and started Prana IV Therapy!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
So far, it’s been pretty smooth! As a business owner, there are always twice as many things on your to-do list than what you can actually get done in a day, but we love everything about it. We have a fantastic team of 9 RNs, and we’re growing fast!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Prana IV Therapy – what should we know?
Prana IV Therapy is an IV therapy clinic located in Scottsdale. We offer both in-clinic IV therapy services in our zen-like IV boutique, as well as mobile IV service to homes, hotels, and offices throughout the entire Phoenix valley, from Buckeye to Anthem to Gilbert.
We have a large menu of various IV drips designed for just about every need! We can help with everything from hangovers to migraines to food poisoning to the flu! We also specialize in NAD+ IV therapy, iron infusions, and high-dose vitamin C IV therapy.
Along with our range of illness and wellness IVs, we offer oxygen therapy, available both in-clinic and through our mobile service, and a variety of vitamin injections like B12 MIC.
We pride ourselves in providing a fantastic patient experience, and we love helping our clients feel better, fast! IV fluids, medications and supplements can help with so many symptoms, and we are typically even cheaper than an ER copay. We only hire RNs, and all of them are IV experts – we want the entire process to be as simple and painless as possible.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
We absolutely love what we do! We both wake up every morning excited to get to the clinic and help more patients with whatever health concerns they may have. Helping people feel great truly never gets old!
