Jovana, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have worked in the Hospitality industry for the past three years as an Executive Meeting Manager in Sheraton/Marriott hotels. I have worked with many clients putting together their corporate events, wedding or other social parties. Even though I love my job and I am still doing it, I always wanted to have something on my own that will be my hobby but at the same time my own business. Because of my work, I do have to follow the latest food trends and communicate with local vendors. I have realized that Cheese Boards are the new trend and that many brides and corporations are trying to incorporate them in their parties, so I said why not. I love cheese, I love food, I love art, let me transfer that love to my clients.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Every small business has their own struggles. Sometimes it’s hard to start from the bottom and pursue people and prove that they should be using local small business product instead of going to the other big and famous company, but that is where all of the fun begins.
