Thanks for sharing your story with us Johnny. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I met my now business partner Ryan Jordan while working @ another tattoo shop in Glendale, Az. We eventually parted ways from that shop and decided to venture out on our own; traveling the country doing tattoo shows and opening up a local shop here in Mesa, Arizona. Ryan and I have been business partners going on 3 years now. What makes us good business partners is that we strive to be better in this industry and push one another past our boundaries in order to achieve our goals and exceed past them and because of this we both have won multiple awards for our tattoo work. We make a great team.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nothing in this life is a smooth road, there will always be struggles. As new business owners we are learning the difficulties of being responsible for the life of this business. In dealing with not only neighboring businesses, direct competitors, and our own employees. Issues can be as small as finding parking for our clients to as stressful as trying to collect the booth dues from employees. All of this while still assuring that our clients receive the best experience and quality work possible.
