Meet Andy Griffin of The District Phx

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andy Griffin.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We started at the end of 2014 and focused on the Coronado historic district. As we continued to grow we maintained our focus on the historic districts of Phoenix. We are involved with several of the Historic District’s home tours and pride ourselves on our philanthropic events in many of these areas.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We have struggled with growth, but love every minute of it. The community response to our product and our involvement within the community has generated a ton of opportunity for us, so we love that challenge of pushing the bar creatively.

Please tell us about The District Phx.
We specialize in historic home restorations and have been able to really revitalize many great homes that in the wrong investors hands would have been stripped of the charm and historic features that we love. We have also found a great group of like-minded investors, many of which are experiencing great personal growth and between those two core principals of giving back to the communities and helping with the foundation for our people to grow within we are having fun representing Phx.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Escaping the Arizona heat and spending time on the beaches of San Diego would rank right at the top. I mean who loves the 120 degree days?
