Hi Alma, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I guess you could say my story begins in my hometown of Tucson with my two daughters at the center of everything. I didn’t grow up surrounded by opportunity. I grew up in a small town where dreaming bigger meant making the hard choice to leave behind everything familiar. But when I looked at my girls, I knew I wanted more for them. That love pushed me to take a leap of faith and start over in Phoenix, even when it felt uncertain and scary.
I started my journey in real estate, pouring my heart into every family I worked with. It was never just about closing deals for me it was about helping people find a place where their lives could unfold. As I grew, I wanted to serve people on a deeper level, so I earned my home inspection license. That step challenged me, but it also opened new doors, including opportunities to work with companies like Zillow.
Over time, what started as a dream turned into something bigger than I ever imagined. Today, I own two businesses that I’ve built from the ground up. Magdalena Rebuild reflects my passion for transforming spaces with care, detail, and pride. Quick Dry comes from a different place in my heart helping families through stressful, unexpected situations like water damage and mold, when they need someone they can truly rely on.
Everything I’ve built comes back to one purpose: creating a better future for my daughters and building something that lasts beyond me. Generational wealth, stability, and showing them what’s possible when you refuse to give up.
Phoenix is where I found my strength. It’s where I proved to myself that I could rebuild not just homes, but my own life. And at the end of the day, what matters most to me isn’t just the success it’s the people I’ve been able to help along the way, the trust I’ve earned, and the difference I’ve made in my community!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all haha it hasn’t been a smooth road. Leaving my hometown meant stepping into the unknown, and starting over in Phoenix came with financial pressure, long hours, and the responsibility of providing for my daughters while building a career.
In real estate, I had to earn trust from the ground up, facing setbacks and uncertainty along the way. Transitioning into inspections meant starting over again learning, studying, and proving myself in a new space. Building my own businesses brought its own risks and challenges, requiring tough decisions and constant resilience.
Those struggles shaped me. They taught me discipline, adaptability, and how to keep moving forward no matter what.

My luxury remodeling company focuses on high-end craftsmanship transforming homes with precision, elevated design, and attention to every detail. We specialize in creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but built to last, reflecting both the vision and lifestyle of each client.
What truly differentiates my brands is the level of attentiveness and experience behind everything we do. Having worked on multiple sides of the industry from real estate to inspections I understand homes from the inside out, and that allows me to advocate for my clients in a deeper way.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that my businesses are built on trust. People know they can rely on us not only for quality work, but for honesty and consistency. My goal has always been to raise the standard whether that’s through craftsmanship, communication, or the way we care for our clients.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
Totally honest I love the cocktail scene here! Trying a new cocktail at a new bar is like one of me and my husbands favorite ways to explore Phoenix. In the same vein there is so much amazing community in our city the fun is never-ending. My least favorite about our city is the lack of seasons! I love rain! I live for the the monsoons and crazy thunder storms.
