Meet Adam Snyder of VYDL PERFORMANCE in Chandler

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Snyder.

Adam, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I played College football at the University of Oregon (2000-2004) and was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2005. Played there from 2005-2011. Signed with the Arizona Cardinals in 2012. Went back to SF in 2013 and finished my career with the New York Giants in 2014. After a year of retirement, I coached Offensive Line at Perry High School, Gilbert AZ, for a couple of years. Long story short, I noticed a need for a training facility where Offensive Lineman could go train their fundamentals and techniques and work on their craft. We now have a facility dedicated to the development of Offensive Lineman from youth to the professional levels.

Has it been a smooth road?
Starting a business from the ground up can be overwhelming, especially if it’s all new to you. That part of it has been a learning process. The football and training aspect is second nature. I’ve enjoyed learning more about the functional aspect of strength and speed/agility training from our strength and speed coach Natalie Waddell (Fortunat.Fit)

So, as you know, we’re impressed with VYDL PERFORMANCE – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our facility caters to the Offensive Line Athlete. From youth (11-13) to high school (14-18) to college and pros. There are few facilities that have the equipment/knowledge and functionality that we have to train an Offensive Line Athlete. I played ten years in the NFL and started at all five positions across the line, and our assistant OL coach Mike Rohme played collegiately at UCLA.

We have a media room in our facility where we conduct “Football School” and teach these athletes how to watch film. There is a proper way to breakdown film. How to understand defenses. Watch their film, watch their opponents film. Watch NFL film and see the techniques they’re being taught play out in real-time.

What’s your outlook for the industry in our city?
Our Phoenix Metro area has become a hotbed for college recruiting. We have every major college coming through here to look at not just football athletes but athletes from all sports, Male and Female. We offer them a high-performance training facility. We’re not just an Offensive Line/Football building; we offer speed/strength/agility as well for all athletes.
