Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Bishop.
Hi Kristina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I didn’t arrive here in a straight line—it’s been a journey of rebuilding myself from the ground up.
For a long time, I was living in survival mode. I went through toxic relationships, became a single mom at a young age, and faced some pretty significant health challenges that forced me to slow down and reevaluate everything. There was a point where my body essentially shut down, I lost my job, and I felt completely lost—physically, emotionally, and financially.
That season, as hard as it was, became the turning point.
I started diving into healing—not just on the surface, but at a deep level. I explored yoga, meditation, breathwork, and mindset work, and began to understand how much our nervous system, our thoughts, and our past experiences shape the way we live our lives. What started as a way to survive slowly became something that helped me feel strong, grounded, and empowered.
From there, I began sharing my journey online—at first just as an outlet, but it quickly grew into something more. People resonated with the honesty, the healing, and the transformation. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just my story—it was something I could use to help others.
Today, I’m a certified life coach, yoga teacher, and content creator. I help people reconnect with themselves, build confidence, regulate their nervous system, and create lives that actually feel good—not just look good from the outside. Through my programs, content, and 1:1 coaching, I support others in turning their pain into purpose and stepping into their next level.
Everything I teach comes from lived experience. I became the person I once needed—and now I get to be that support for others.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—and I don’t think it’s meant to be.
I’ve experienced a lot of challenges along the way, from toxic relationships and becoming a single mom at a young age to going through a period of serious health issues that completely disrupted my life. There was a time where I felt like everything was falling apart at once—my health, my stability, my sense of direction.
On top of that, building something of my own came with its own set of struggles. Learning how to show up online, finding my voice, dealing with self-doubt, and navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship—it’s not as glamorous as it looks from the outside.
There were moments where I questioned everything. Moments where I felt stuck, overwhelmed, or like I was starting over again.
But those challenges are also what shaped me.
They forced me to slow down, to look inward, and to do the deeper work—emotionally, mentally, and physically. They taught me resilience, self-trust, and how to take care of myself in a way I never had before.
Now, I don’t see those struggles as setbacks—I see them as the foundation for everything I do today. They’re the reason I’m able to connect with people on a real level and support others who feel like they’re in that same place, trying to find their way back to themselves.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a life coach, yoga teacher, meditation guide, and content creator focused on helping people reconnect with themselves, regulate their nervous system, and create a life that feels aligned—not just one that looks good on the outside.
My work blends mindset coaching with somatic practices like breathwork, meditation, movement, and nervous system regulation. I also have a background in fitness and have worked with clients in a personal training capacity, which allows me to bridge both the mental and physical sides of transformation. Everything I do is rooted in helping people feel stronger—not just in their bodies, but in their confidence, clarity, and sense of self.
I specialize in supporting people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or like they’ve lost themselves somewhere along the way. A lot of my clients are high-capacity individuals who are used to pushing through life, but are ready to slow down, realign, and actually feel good again.
What I’m known for is my honesty, my relatability, and the way I simplify healing. I don’t believe in overly complicated systems or surface-level advice—I help people understand what’s actually happening in their body and mind, and give them practical tools they can use in their everyday life.
I’m also known for bringing a unique, outdoor element into my work. Living in Arizona, I spend a lot of time on the water—especially paddleboarding—and people often recognize me for my yoga flows and even headstands on the river. It’s become a signature part of my brand and a way I show that healing, movement, and joy don’t have to happen inside a gym or studio—they can happen anywhere.
What I’m most proud of is building all of this from lived experience. Everything I teach is something I’ve personally walked through. I became the person I once needed—and now I get to support others in doing the same.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just focus on mindset or just on physical wellness—I bridge both. I help people regulate their nervous system and shift the way they think, so the changes actually last. My approach is real, personalized, and rooted in both experience and embodiment—because true transformation isn’t just something you think about, it’s something you live.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I try to be really intentional with what I consume. I’m not someone who’s constantly taking in new information—I care more about actually integrating what resonates and applying it in my life.
I’ve always been drawn to books around personal growth and relationships, especially anything that helps me better understand myself and others. I also loved #GIRLBOSS—it sparked that creative, entrepreneurial side of me and reminded me that you can build something meaningful on your own terms.
I’ve also been influenced by deeper self-discovery tools like Human Design and Gene Keys, which I’ve explored through my coach and mentor, Christina. She has a podcast that I love and regularly tune into—it’s been a big part of my growth, both personally and in how I support others.
When it comes to day-to-day tools, I use Instagram as a core part of my business and connection with my audience—it’s where I share, create, and build community. I also love Canva for bringing my ideas to life and creating content that feels aligned with my brand.
But honestly, one of my biggest “resources” is nature. Getting outside—whether I’m paddleboarding, hiking, or just being in the sun—is where I reset, process, and reconnect with myself. That’s when everything clicks.
At the end of the day, I’ve learned it’s not about consuming more—it’s about living what you already know. That’s where real growth happens.
