Today we’d like to introduce you to Sheryl Keeme.

Hi Sheryl, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have always been a writer. My undergrad work was in journalism. Over the years, I have been a reporter, a communication director, a marketer, and a content creator. About 14 years ago, I learned more about self-publishing and have grown to enjoy helping others with all aspects of this. For a time, I helped a coach create his courses, prepare manuscripts for his clients, and publish on Amazon. Soon, I was gaining my own clients and referrals and helping others on my own.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest struggles at first were finding clients. Now, it’s the many changes Amazon have put in place for security that make it challenging to work remotely with clients in other parts of the country.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am an editor. I also can help people flesh their book out if writing it has become too difficult or wearisome through talk recording and transcripts. I love working with people who are writing their memoirs. I can help someone from concept to published book, or only certain steps along the way, such as editing, layout, setting up the Amazon platform, and more.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Being with other happy people. I think people are so interesting and I love getting to know them.
