Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryce Petersen.

Hi Bryce, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
The idea for Hydro Air Wellness was sparked by a personal health journey. Around 2005, My father, Kevin, rediscovered the joy of movement through use of a HydroWorx aquatic treadmill after years of health struggles. Ten years later, this experience, combined with my pursuit of a physical therapy doctorate and exposure to anti-gravity treadmills, ignited a shared vision. In 2023, after Kevin’s significant health scare and subsequent transformation, the family decided to create the facility to share their experience with others. Now we hear all the time from our clients how much their life has been changed for the better because they have access to this facility. They tell us what a game changer it is to have equipment that drastically helps them feel better and stay active.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Our biggest struggle has been marketing. We know we have a gem here, that has the ability to significantly bless the lives of thousands, in a way that no other place can. In essence, we have a handful of diamonds, but very few people know about it.

As you know, we’re big fans of Hydro Air Wellness Lab. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Hydro Air is a wellness facility that is similar to a gym, in that we have monthly memberships where people can go their own pace and perform a workout routine for improved fitness and strength on standard gym equipment. But thats where the similarity ends. In addition to the standard gym equipment, we have recovery equipment that is typically only found in elite professional clubs, including low-impact water and microgravity treadmills, red light therapy, cryotherapy, plunges, 3D body scanner, compression therapy, and much more. Essentially, we have made available what the elites have already discoverd to drastically improve quality of life, longevity, and wellness. We are supercharged recovery. All this can be utilized by members with exclusive keyed access daily from 4am to 11pm currently. As a bonus, conveniently located on site, I offer my physical therapy services (as a D.P.T) and my business partner offers personal training to those who need a little more guidance and assistance with recovery and training.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
There is so much that is hard to navigate in the small business sphere, with mistakes often times outweighing the wins. It is important to seek the advice of those who you can trust that have experience and expertise in building their own business. People you know and that will honest with you. Learn from their mistakes but also build your own confidence in what sets you apart from the rest. Try to remember the “why” as you move forward.

This applies not only to business building but also to health and wellness. There are so many opinions out there and it is often difficult to filter out what is hype from that which truly works. That’s why it’s important to be your own advocate by doing your own informed research, and supplementing it with expert friendly advice.
