Daily Inspiration: Meet Dania Wales

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dania Wales.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
As a single mother, I was always looking for a “side hustle”. Because both of us are”clean freaks”, we decided to start a cleaning service. At first, I put a picture of my daughter and I on Facebook Marketplace. Very simple and unpolished. It spread like wildfire! Word of mouth took over. We took on clients and cleaned on our off time from work(my career in the medical field) and my daughter’s school. We worked like this for 2 1/2 years. We grew so much that we came to the decision that we either grow and bring on employees or call it quits. We are coming onto 10 years! We still have some of our first clients with us! We believe in giving the extra “TLC” to our clients homes like they were our own. And our clients are family.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Finding good people with the same passion for cleaning has been the most difficult part.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I have been in the medical field for over 30 years. Starting in the hospital and now I work at a cancer treatment center in North Scottsdale.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Starting a business if not for the faint of heart.. Lots of hard work, but with the solid vision- the hard work will be fruitful and something to be proud of.
