Today we’d like to introduce you to Lucia Robinson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I worked as a dental assistant for 14 years, but I always felt unfulfilled. Deep down, I had a desire to work for myself and create a life that aligned with my values. After the unexpected passing of my mom, I started reflecting on the parts of my life that weren’t bringing me joy, and I realized it was time to make a change. That’s when I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue real estate.
I started off on a small, high-pressure team that pushed me to my limits but also helped me realize my full potential. I was juggling real estate on nights and weekends while still working full-time in dentistry, and at one point, I almost gave up on the dream. Then COVID hit. I was laid off from my dental job, and in that moment, I decided to go all in. I hit the ground running and never looked back.
The biggest shift for me hasn’t just been in career, but in mindset. I’ve done a lot of internal work to show up fully for my clients. I’m not someone who relies on sales scripts or gimmicks. Everything I do is rooted in authenticity. I treat every client like family and always put their best interests first. My personal motto is: “Where integrity meets determination.” That’s the heart behind my business, and I’m so grateful I followed the nudge to take that leap.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was definitely not a smooth road. One of the most challenging but also beautiful parts of this business is that the market is always changing. There are constant obstacles to navigate. That’s why I believe mindset is everything. I’ve learned to view every hardship as an opportunity to grow and improve.
Starting out on a high-pressure team pushed me in ways I wasn’t fully prepared for. The expectations were intense, and while I learned a lot, it was tough on my family. We went from a stable, predictable schedule to me working nights, weekends, holidays, and even through vacations. That shift wasn’t easy for any of us.
There’s also a steep learning curve in real estate. Those first couple of years were especially difficult because I was trying to serve my clients at a high level while still learning the ins and outs of the business. It was overwhelming at times, but I’ve always been a natural problem solver. Between that, the mindset work I’ve committed to, and my faith, I’ve always found a way forward. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a top-producing real estate agent serving Tucson and the surrounding areas, specializing in relocation, new construction, and buyer and seller representation. I take pride in the relationships I’ve built with my clients, and many have told me they felt like they were working with a friend, even though we had just met. I lead with heart, strong communication, and a deep commitment to educating my clients, so they feel confident and informed every step of the way.
One of the things I’m most proud of is being ranked #60 as a Top Latino Real Estate Agent in the Southwest Region. That recognition means so much to me. Not just because of the award itself, but because I didn’t come from a business background or have a college degree. Everything I’ve built has come from faith, integrity, and a relentless work ethic. I love representing my culture and showing others what’s possible when you stay grounded and believe in yourself.
What truly sets me apart is the way I approach this business. I don’t use sales scripts. I stay rooted in authenticity and serve my clients with care, honesty, and intention. My mission is not only to help my clients achieve their real estate goals but also to one day mentor new agents. Real estate has completely changed my life, and I’m passionate about helping others build a life and career they’re proud of too.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The quality I believe has been most important to my success is my authenticity, paired with determination. I’ve built my business by staying true to who I am. No sales scripts, just honest conversations and genuine care. I show up fully for my clients, lead with integrity, and always put their needs first.
I also believe my communication skills and ability to problem-solve under pressure have made a huge impact. In real estate, things don’t always go as planned, and being able to navigate challenges calmly and creatively is key. I take pride in being someone my clients can trust—someone who will educate, advocate, and walk with them every step of the way. I truly believe when you lead with heart and stay committed, success follows.
