So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
At first, I wasn’t planning on actually starting my own business. I originally just wanted to be able to spray tan myself (selfish, I know). Then, eventually, I wanted to help others to fall in love with spray tanning and see its benefits compared to bed & sun tanning. So then, I got certified, created my brand, and the rest is history!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Let me tell ya, it’s been a smooth roller coaster ride! There have been tough days where I wondered if I should just quit and move on. But I remembered how far I had come, and there’s no better feeling than getting a challenge thrown at you and conquering it! Remember that gradual progress is still progress!

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a celebrity/professional custom spray tan artist, certified by Million Dollar Tan. I specialize in body contouring and use different solutions for different skin tones.

When it comes to my brand, I’m very proud to be able to help educate others on the dangers of actually tanning your skin, and offer a completely safe alternative. The happiness on people’s face after they’ve been tanned means everything to me!

Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
Yes, in childhood, I made many mistakes (most of us have), and it’s really taught me how to be humble in every aspect of life and do honest work. By doing so, you’ll always win even when you lose!
