Check Out Ana Perez’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Perez.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It all started when my husband and I attended a Barbering Expo in 2019.
Let me just say I had no idea how great that community is. The talent that they have is amazing.
After the expo we attended The following day sitting at the kitchen table I told him what if I start making barber shirts?! Growing up I loved all things Super Mario my fondest memories are playing that game with my dad.
So my husband and I we started Remaking designs then it all just started rolling in! Fun fact my husband actually came up with the name “rebrandedera” loved it!
From the moment I posted my first shirts I received so much love from the barber community. Then Slowly orders started coming in.
It came time to attend my first Barber expo as a Vendor Within the first 2 hours I was sold out of a few shirts. By the end of the night I had only 10 shirts left. It was such an amazing feeling to know that there were so many people that loved the shirts I made.
I feel a lot of the times we are so scared to do something because we think we may fail but not trying is actually failing in my opinion.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not as easy as I thought it would be, as I still held a full time job so I couldn’t fully push this to its full potential.

I can definitely think of a few things that can make it a bit hard for small businesses which I have come across.
For example you run into bigger brands with a much bigger following that will copy your work.
Which is very frustrating but what do you do right?! There is enough people in the barbering industry for all of us to sell & make a living.
I can say that has been my biggest challenge.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I create / remake shirts for barbers.
From past themes & popular shows.
I have a very successful design for my lady barbers. It’s very cute comfortable & Chic.
It reminds us as Women that we can kick ass & still be very feminine.
While wearing Pink!
If pink is not your color I am a lover for anything Cheetah or Leopard so that design I also made it in that print.

What sets us apart from others in my opinion is when u order something you are dealing with me,im making your shirts, sweatshirts and stickers whatever it may be you are ordering. It’s definitely a more personal experience.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
