Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Clubb.
Rebecca, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In 2010, I left my corporate job to pursue my love of cooking and attended Laguna Culinary Arts. At the time, I was suffering from a number of food allergies which were causing me severe pain inflammation, among other issues. After receiving my certificate in culinary arts I began to cook for people like myself who suffer from food-related illness or who had specific dietary goals. I was able to take the foods they loved and make healthier versions of them. By 2013, I started hiring chefs to join me at Whole Health Everyday, cooking for people with specific dietary needs. Our clientele include athletes, people with cancer, diverticulitis, who are gluten- or dairy-free and other health issues. We also have clients who just want a healthier lifestyle. All our clients have specific needs, so the chefs adjust the menus to work with each client. As the business grew, I hired more chefs and we now have 15 chefs serving Southern California and are now hiring and getting started in Scottsdale.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In 2011, I started a meal delivery service, cooking for individual clients and delivering prepared meals to their homes. Getting everyone to order off the same menu was a challenge and ultimately, they wanted what they wanted so it wasn’t working. There was a lot of overhead and it was difficult to scale. The business model just wasn’t working so I went back to providing personal chef services in client’s homes.
Whole Health Everyday – What should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Our team of highly qualified chefs are here to help anyone who has a specific dietary need or goal. Whether that is due to dietary restrictions, athletic requirements or simply because they prefer to eat right to live well, we are here to serve them. We take the foods they love and transform them into healthier, delicious versions that they can enjoy every day. We are known for the ability of our chefs to create delicious meals that are healthy and meet the client’s dietary needs. There is no need to sacrifice taste to be healthy. Our chefs can adjust recipes to meet everyone’s needs.
I am proud of our dedicated team. In addition to being superb chefs, they are committed to health and wellness. We set ourselves apart from the rest of the market because we know nutrition, we know health, and we know FOOD. We are stronger as a team and dedicated to helping people.
What moment in your career do you look back on most fondly?
My proudest moments are when my chefs talk about how happy they are to work for a company that cares and when my clients say how much we have helped them.
