Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Klein.
Nick, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was just looking for a natural pelletizer for my biofuels project and decided to use rabbit manure. The five rabbits turned into 50 in less than 8 months, 50 turned into 1600 after my first year. I started selling rabbits and cages after that, focusing on the prepper and homesteaders target audiences.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Uphill both ways yadda yadda… a LOT of growing pains, lost a great shop in my divorce, had been plumbing kill 2000 dollars worth of livestock in a day. Prototyping is a cold reality sometimes.
Hostile Hare – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am proud of my followers. I have a great group that supports me and feels like family.
Products, I have the best cages for bunnies, they’re built to be durable and to protect the babies.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I’ve had a few moments when a fan contacts me and just spills all their prepping and homesteading accomplishments out in the conversation and then tell me how I played a role in their story. How they’ve had my help when I didn’t even know them.
