Daisy shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Daisy, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Who are you learning from right now?
I’m learning from my own journey — from the mistakes, the healing, and the moments that push me to grow. I let life teach me while I keep creating 💄🩷
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Daisy — a beauty content creator and blogger who blends creativity with real life. By day, I work in a hospital, and outside of that world I express myself through makeup, fashion, and content creation. My brand is about growth, self-expression, and learning from every experience — including mistakes. What makes my journey unique is the balance between discipline and creativity: showing that you can build something beautiful while living a full, grounded life. Through my content, I aim to inspire confidence, authenticity, and the courage to evolve while staying true to yourself.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Besides my friends I have one interesting experience. There was a time when an elderly woman told me I was beautiful while I was working in maintenance for a company. In that moment, she saw me clearly before I could see myself — she saw past the uniform, the role, the surface — and made me question if what I was showing the world was truly who I wanted to be. That moment sparked a journey of growth and self-discovery, and ever since, I’ve been evolving into my true self.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: Embrace your beautiful colors. You are your own canvas, and with every stroke, you can create something amazing. Never be afraid to let your true self shine.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
I admire Cruella de Vil — not for her power, but for her character. Her confidence, creativity, and refusal to apologize for who she is remind me that embracing your uniqueness can be its own kind of strength.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What will you regret not doing?
I’d regret not fully embracing my passions — creating, expressing myself through beauty, and sharing my voice with the world. Not taking the leap to be my true self would be the biggest “what if” I could never forgive.
