Rising Stars: Meet Kelsey Donovan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelsey Donovan.

Hi Kelsey, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I always knew I wanted to be a real estate agent, and after nearly a decade in the industry, I’m more in love with what I do now than ever. I was born and raised in Arizona and have found joy in bringing my local knowledge to help buyers and sellers feel truly at home in The Greater Phoenix Area. I began working in the real estate industry shortly after college. I worked with one of the top teams in AZ, eventually leading to managing a brokerage, overseeing all transactions, and enhancing the client experience for the entire company. After many years of soaking up as much knowledge as possible in those roles, I set out as a solo, full-time agent to help buyers and sellers on a larger scale and make a bigger impact than ever before. Since then, I have helped countless buyers find their dream homes and have assisted many sellers in reaching record-breaking sales prices. And helped investors, buyers, and sellers build wealth through real estate in Scottsdale and throughout The Greater Phoenix Area. I’ve also begun to develop my team, focusing on mentoring others to build their business and enhance their clients’ experiences through education. The most rewarding part of being a real estate agent has been the countless incredible relationships I’ve built with my clients and their families — many of whom become great friends!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
My business’s biggest challenge was taking the risk to get started! Starting a business can come with great risk, and I knew real estate has a very high failure rate. However, I was going into it with an immense amount of knowledge and the willingness and determination to do what it takes to be successful. The only regret I have in my business is not starting sooner! The biggest hurdle for many business owners in any industry is getting out of their way to get started. To be successful, you often need to go all in, and going all in comes with risk. If you’re feeling called to start your own business, my advice is to start today.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I help buyers, sellers, and investors with residential real estate throughout The Greater Phoenix Area. I pride myself on leading with integrity, strong ethics, and great negotiation skills. I am very creative in my negotiation style, often thinking outside the box to ensure you’re set up in the best position possible when buying or selling. I am a type A planner and a go-getter who will always ensure we are one step ahead. My goal is to take as much stress as possible off of my clients to create an exciting home buying and selling experience. I focus heavily on education and empowerment with my clients. I never want you to feel lost or confused during the biggest purchase of your life.
