Prince , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Something outside of work that’s been bringing me joy lately is spending time with my newborn daughter, Aaliyah. Becoming a father has shifted the way I see life and given me a whole new source of inspiration. She motivates me to be intentional with everything I do, whether that’s pursuing creative projects, building my career, or making thoughtful choices for my future. Even in the busiest moments, she reminds me why I’m working so hard, and that joy translates into the passion and drive I bring into my professional work as well.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Prince Kanta, and I’m a model, creator, and entrepreneur with a vision that blends style, storytelling, and authenticity. Right now, I’m focused on growing my presence in modeling and content creation while also building toward launching my own brand. What makes my journey special is that everything I do is fueled by purpose—whether that’s creating impactful visuals, exploring new ideas in fashion and photography, or laying the foundation for future business ventures. At the core of it all is my role as a father to my baby girl, Laylah, who inspires me to turn every dream into reality and leave behind something meaningful.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I used to believe that my voice and my ideas didn’t really matter—that I had to blend in and follow the path laid out for me. Over time, through my experiences and growth, I realized that my individuality is actually my greatest strength. Now I know that my perspective, creativity, and vision are exactly what set me apart, and that confidence is what drives me to model, create, and build something of my own.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: be patient with yourself, everything you’re going through is shaping you into the person you’re meant to become. The struggles that once felt overwhelming eventually turned into lessons that gave me strength, resilience, and purpose. I’d remind my younger self that even in the hardest moments, he was building the foundation for the man I am today—a father, a creator, and someone determined to turn vision into reality.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of me is the real me, but it’s not the full picture. What people see is my creativity, my style, and the side of me that’s chasing dreams—but behind that is also the father, the learner, and the human who’s still figuring life out every day. I believe in being authentic with the world because that’s how real connections are made, but I’ve also learned that it’s okay to keep certain parts of yourself private to protect your peace. To me, authenticity isn’t about showing everything—it’s about making sure that whatever I do choose to share is true to who I am.

What I think people might most misunderstand about my legacy is assuming it’s only about me—about modeling, business, or the image I put out. In reality, my legacy isn’t just about personal success; it’s about what I build and leave behind for others, especially my daughter, Laylah. I want people to understand that everything I’m creating is rooted in love, resilience, and purpose. The real impact I hope to make is showing that no matter where you start or what challenges you face, you can create something lasting that inspires others and provides for the ones you love.
