Today we’d like to introduce you to Thomas Jouanno.
Thomas, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My wife and I had a dream (we are both French and were living in Paris): starting our family in the US and acquiring a business. We did both in a year. In 2016 we decided that time has come, so we got married in France, started to look for an ecommerce business to acquire in Arizona, and here we are, a year later we have a wonderful daughter born in Chandler and a very interesting and promising business.
Has it been a smooth road?
Oh no! A lot of struggles, acquiring the Investor Visa is a very complex story, a lot of documentations, you need to have a lawyer it is a long and stressful process because in order to apply for the Investor Visa you have to acquire the business, but you are not allowed yet to run it as you have no VISA to work in the US, so you need to be confident in your project… April 2017: purchasing of the company… June 2017 Interview at the US embassy in Paris to obtain the Visa, then back to the US in June. So during 3 months you are the owner of your business but can’t run it… what a stressful situation because you don’t know if you are going to get your visa or not!!!

Atmosol is an ecommerce agency, 13 years of experience based in Chandler. We love the landscapes, the colors, and the heat! We don’t like… the lack of good food for us French!
