Meet Jason Williams of Econ Windows in North

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Williams.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jason. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started in the industry 1998 as a windshield repair tech for F.A.C.T Glass (Fix a chip technology). Throughout the years, I continued to learn the different trades related to this service industry. In time I moved into the office learning CSR (customer service representative) duties, sales, quoting, estimating and finally management. I worked for the same company for the twenty years until I established Econ Windows.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road of life had its twists, turns and forks. Though I feel out of these forced changes and decisions, came the push needed to learn different aspects of the business and the trade, For example, if the insurance industry didn’t unity and cut auto glass pay rates. I may never have learned to install flat glass for homes or businesses.

Tell us about your company. What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of as a company? What sets you apart from others?
Econ Windows is a smaller company that has low overhead and can take extra time to focus on individual customers’ needs. As the sole member of the company, a customer can rest a sure and know the quality and experience will be delivered as they expect. Econ Windows is a dealer of Cascade Windows and Phifer screens. I specialize in vinyl windows in homes, mirrors, broken glass replacement, sunscreens and window films. Aluminum storefront windows, doors hardware repair and replacement.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Econ Windows will expand and employ in time. It is very important to make sure the quality and standards this company holds stay true.
