Desirae, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Life is an incredible journey filled with beautiful experiences that shape our present reality. I firmly believe in the power of manifestation and the importance of visualization and purposeful thinking in achieving success and personal growth.

I have been heavily involved with creativity from a young age, embodying a pioneering spirit and possessing wisdom beyond my years. My aspirations to work in the public eye, particularly in entertainment, media, and public relations, were evident early on. Through my initial foray into print and commercial modeling in Japan, I began cultivating professional relationships that highlighted my cultural awareness and ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Upon returning to the United States, I embarked on a new chapter, fueled by a desire to further my career in the industry. Pursuing a master’s degree in linguistics and journalism, areas close to my heart, complemented my practical experience in public relations gained abroad. This fusion of academic knowledge and hands-on expertise laid the foundation for establishing my successful PR business.

Today, I am driven by a deep passion for fostering greatness, not only for myself but also for the dynamic clients I am privileged to collaborate with. My journey continues to unfold, guided by a commitment to authenticity and a dedication to empowering others through effective communication and strategic storytelling.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I would describe my journey as relatively smooth. Challenges are subjective, as every path presents choices. It is our perception of these choices and how we navigate through them that truly matters. While I encountered obstacles along the way, they played a significant in shaping my success. “Growing Pains” are a reality—growth often pushes us out of our comfort zones, as it did me on numerous occasions.

From my perspective, the struggle stemmed more from trying to control outcomes rather than facing the challenges themselves. Reflecting on tough experiences, impatience often overshadowed my ability to see beyond the present moment. These impatient instances taught me valuable lessons about taking charge of my decisions and owning responsibility. Ultimately, only you have the power to sway your choices and determine the path you take when faced with pivotal decisions.

If I were to pinpoint a particular struggle along the way, it would be time management. Early on, I grappled with balancing multiple enticing creative projects simultaneously. With hindsight, I’ve honed my time management skills, now choosing to collaborate only with individuals who share a similar drive and goals. At the same time, we all have the same 24 hours each day; productivity and achievement hinge on a focused mindset.

Staying resolute and guarding against distractions has been crucial in pursuing my dreams and crossing various personal finish lines. As a creative individual with diverse interests, I have numerous aspirations to fulfill—an ongoing journey of achieving my goals and embracing creativity.

I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in public relations, brand expansion, and client growth guiding them to enhance their relevance. Rather than-promotion, I prefer others define what distinguishes me from their own perspective. I demonstrate my worth through action and results.

I am self-driven, deriving excitement from surpassing goals and new challenges. Collaboration with diverse individuals on a global scale is paramount. My reputation in amplifying visibility and generating significant buzz around their endeavors is important for my brand. I seek resilient partners who are focused on achieving goals under my PR guidance.

Witnessing clients exceed their own expectations and gain confidence and success is immensely fulfilling. By showcasing their accomplishments and facilitating connections with their audience and industry, I contribute to their sustained growth. I provide unwavering support throughout their journey, serving as their ultimate advocate and ally.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Let me begin with a quote that is very close to my thinking when it comes to taking a leap of faith. “Leap and the net will appear.” This quote is from John Burroughs. I wholeheartedly agree.

It would be truly remarkable if we possessed the insight to predict the outcomes of the various situations we encounter in life. While occasional instances may unfold as anticipated, more often than not, we rely on our intuition, experience, and sensibilities to navigate us in the right direction. The reality is that there are no certainties, including the unknown consequences of the risks we undertake. Throughout my life, I have found myself in positions where taking risks was necessary. Some situations inherently felt ill-advised, while others resonated with a sense of alignment.

In essence, a risk presents itself as an opportunity for success. Without embracing a degree of risk and vulnerability to the uncertainties surrounding our decisions, true success remains elusive. I acknowledge that the times I hesitated to take a certain risk but proceeded regardless led to unfavorable outcomes. Conversely, risks that resonated positively within me yielded multifaceted benefits. Overcoming the fear associated with making those decisions proved to be my greatest challenge.

Upon reflection, following through with those decisions left me with a sense of satisfaction and a realization that I should have embraced them sooner. Timing has played a pivotal role in manifesting favorable results in my journey, for which I am immensely grateful.
