Good morning Greg, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
I was driving my seven-year-old son to school the other day when a blue Subaru WRX with a spoiler on the back cut us off.

My son said, “Hey dad – spoiler alert!”

I just about drove off the road laughing, and I was definitely proud of him for coming up with that!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey there! My name is Greg Golden, and I’m the founder and owner of Mustache Pretzels, LLC. We operate several Phoenix-area food trucks, concession stands, and pop-up locations which feature hand-rolled, scratch-made soft pretzels shaped like handlebar mustaches.

We’ve been in business since 2014, and prior to starting our first food truck, I was actually a forensic accountant.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I was better at Mike Tyson’s Punchout (for the original Nintendo console) than either of my older brothers were, which filled me with an indescribable sense of power as a little kid.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Great job on finding a wife, dude! Amanda is the best.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that the things that really matter most to me are my wife, my kids, and the Philadelphia Phillies.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace at the end of the day, when the kids are asleep and the chores are done and my wife and I watch TV together. That’s a good feeling.
