Today we’d like to introduce you to Michele Robbins.
Hi Michele , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey started as a Realtor when I was a young Mom and had a horrible experience buying a home. I made a vow to help others so they never had to go through those challenges or feel as alone and vulnerable as I had. That passion grew over the years as I realized many of us were never taught about wealth, creating wealth and building a legacy for generational wealth… which catapulted into so much more opportunities in the real estate space while helping people at an even higher level.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh gosh no, the real estate market is cyclical… the boom, the crash, the perceptions, the highs and lows of it all has been extremely challenging. I had to pivot multiple times and as a single Mom with 4 kids at one point, one with severe special needs, I really had to keep going and growing to keep it altogether. There were many tears shed along the way in private.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a licensed Realtor now for 25 years, with all the needs out there, one year ago I started Legacy Enterprise Group to help people with changing needs in housing and/or low interest rates they do not want to forego enter into the short-mid term corporate housing space with our consulting, educating, marketing and administrative support to build and grow their own legacy through real estate.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
I have so many but one specifically I remember when my parents wanted to buy a new house and we went looking at model homes. I was enamored by it and started drafting my own floorplans and vision for homes that I thought would be the envy of every homebuyer. Later in life, as an adult there was a period of time where we did a bunch of fix and flips and I was able to recreate and reimagine floorplans to make the homes more suitable vs traditional cookie cutter homes. I also to this day can help build a vision for clients who are not able to see a home or a project and make it a reality.
