Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Frank.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Oh boy. Well to cut the longest story short.
My mom use to live in Brooklyn, NY and I would go visit her during summer breaks and holidays. I was living with my pops in California at the time.
My mom brought me to her friend Melissa’s house who was a DJ. I was immediately in AWE!!
Melissa showed a thing or two and i loved it so much that my mother gifted me a complete Gemini Turntable / Mixer set up and I dove right in.
I began rapping with high school friends and when i turned 16, i was gifted a laptop in which my uncle installed FL Studio. I think it was version 5 or 6 back then.
I started making beats all the while recording with my group “Simply Groovy”
Fast forward i moved to Flagstaff, AZ for college at NAU and i felt like i was finally accepted for who i was. I continued rapping and making beats and was blessed with opportunities to perform at pretty much all of the dope venues up there.
I then moved to Phoenix AZ in 2015 to attend CRAS. Once i graduated i focused on my eking and organically took off.
I became apart of a beautiful community in Phoenix.
I’ joined as a member of Brunch Collect & Vibe Lane and we became family !
I quit my last fulltime job back in 2017 and haven’t looked back.
I’ve been a full time DJ since.
I’m currently a member of SESSIONS. We are a DJ collective who bring a unique, soulful, groovy variety of sounds to every crowd we play for.
Phew that was a lot. Haha. It’s been such a fun, crazy, extravagant journey.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Honestly, it’s been sooooo smooth! I’ve been blessed.

I am an all around Artist.
I DJ. I rap. I Produce. I engineer. I have a clothing line. I am a certified yoga instructor
I put my mind to it, then put my grind to it.
