Hi Leah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey into massage therapy has been about discovering what I wanted to create—and what I didn’t want my clients to experience. Working at a day spa gave me valuable experience, but it also showed me that I wanted something more personal and intentional.
That inspired me to create Earth Ra Mobile Massage, a mobile, in-home massage practice where clients never feel like just another appointment. I specialize in longer sessions and work with fewer clients so I can give each person the time, attention, and care they deserve. Today, my goal is to provide an elevated, personalized experience that allows people to truly slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and feel cared for.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest challenges was balancing working at a spa while building my own clientele and business on the side. I was learning the marketing, scheduling, financial, and business side of being an entrepreneur while also trying to grow my client base and find my own identity as a therapist.
Personally, I also went through an unhealthy relationship during that time, which made an already challenging season even more difficult. There were moments when I questioned myself and whether I could really make this work. But those experiences ultimately pushed me to become stronger, more independent, and more confident in my worth.
Looking back, every challenge taught me something. I learned to trust myself, set boundaries, and build a business around quality, authenticity, and the kind of client experience I truly believe in.

My practice was created around the belief that massage should be more than a service—it should be an experience. I bring an elevated, personalized spa experience directly to my clients, allowing them to relax and receive therapeutic care in the comfort and privacy of their own space.
I specialize in longer massage sessions, because I believe the body deserves more than a rushed hour. My approach is holistic, incorporating the muscular system, fascia, nervous system, and energetic aspects of the body to create a deeper, more intentional experience.
What sets Earth Ra Mobile Massage apart is the level of personal attention I provide. I intentionally work with fewer clients so I can focus on quality rather than quantity. I’m most proud of creating a brand that reflects my values: intentionality, authenticity, and making every client feel genuinely seen and cared for—not like just another appointment.

Something that may surprise people is how spiritually guided I am throughout my massages. While my work is rooted in the physical body, I also believe there is an energetic connection that can influence how we experience relaxation and healing.
During each session, I allow my intuition to guide me. I pay attention to subtle cues from the client and their body, letting the massage unfold rather than following the exact same routine every time. For me, it’s about creating a deeper connection between the physical, emotional, and energetic aspects of the experience.
