Community Highlights: Meet Andela Rosson of Holistic Muscles by Andela

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andela Rosson.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It wasn’t until high school, after seeing a chiropractor and learning about my condition through X-rays, that I understood the source of my discomfort. This revelation sparked my journey into massage therapy.
During my studies, I discovered the profound relief massage can bring, not only to myself but to others suffering from similar pain. Inspired by my own experience and a lifelong habit of massaging my hardworking mother, I decided to pursue a career in massage therapy.
With deep roots in the Tucson community (my family owned Café Poca Cosa), I am passionate about bringing comfort and relief to my clients through the healing power of massage.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road, I was still maintaining a full time job while going to school and starting my mobile massage business. And that job took my life away. I knew it was time to leave and do what I fell in love with at school.
I have now dropped that full time job and I massage full time.
I rent an office space, doing mobile, and working at a spa studio to start up my clientele.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a licensed mobile massage therapist serving the Tucson and surrounding areas.
I specialize in deep therapeutic massage while using tools like cupping, hot stones, and lymphatic drainage.
I’m not your typical massage therapist. As a Christian, I believe in helping you find real relief from pain through intentional, hands-on massage therapy—not energy work or spiritual practices. My focus is on understanding your body, addressing the source of your discomfort, and helping you feel better through therapeutic touch.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love the views here of our sunsets and mountains. And I dislike that there are limitations on entertainment here.
