We’re looking forward to introducing you to Coley Arnold . Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Coley, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I love to be on the sidelines and in the stands of my sons’ sporting events. Cheering them on in doing what they love brings me immense joy!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
As a seasoned entrepreneur with over 14 years of experience, I am deeply committed to championing the success of women in business. I have built a thriving community that serves as a powerful network and support system for female entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. Foundress is more than just a community; it’s a movement that empowers women to scale their businesses to six and seven figures through strategic mentorship, curated resources, and access to industry-leading speakers. Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I have successfully launched, grown, and sold two businesses. My experience in scaling businesses and achieving exits provides me with a unique perspective that I love to share with my community and the women that I work with. My deep belief in the power of women supporting each other has driven me to create a space where female founders can connect, share experiences, and overcome the unique challenges they face in the business world. I believe every women has the ability to succeed on her own terms!
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
My mom shaped my career and business life in ways I didn’t fully understand until I became a woman building something of my own. She showed me what it looks like to work hard, to be resourceful, and to keep going even when things feel uncertain. She taught me the value of showing up with integrity, caring deeply about people, and believing in myself before the results ever showed up. Watching her navigate life with strength and heart gave me the confidence to trust my instincts, take risks, and build a business rooted in purpose, not just success. The way I lead, the way I support other women, and the way I keep choosing growth, even when it’s uncomfortable, all trace back to her example.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me how to stand on my own two feet when the applause disappeared. It stripped away the need for validation and forced me to build trust with myself. I learned to trust my gut to keep going when no one was watching, cheering, or believing yet. It taught me resilience, humility, and compassion in a way success never could. Success can reward you, but suffering refines you. It showed me who I am when things don’t work, when plans fall apart, and when I have to choose courage anyway. I value depth, alignment, and the strength that comes from surviving what once felt impossible.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what truly matters to me is living with purpose and heart. They know I am working hard at building a life that feels meaningful and aligned with my values. They’d say I care deeply about my people, about showing up fully as a mom, a wife, and a friend, and about creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and capable of more than they ever imagined. They’d tell you I value integrity, growth, and alignment over shortcuts, and that I measure success by impact, freedom, and connection, not titles or numbers. Above all, they’d say I care about doing life and business in a way that feels honest, brave, and true to who I am.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope they say she lived with courage and heart, and that she made people feel seen, capable, and less alone. That she built businesses and communities rooted in integrity and used her voice to give other women permission to believe bigger and stand taller. I hope they say she showed up fully: as a leader, a mother, a friend and that she chose growth even when it was uncomfortable. More than anything, I hope the story they tell is that because she was here, other women found clarity, confidence, and the courage to build a life they truly loved.
