Check Out Cielo Ortiz’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cielo Ortiz.

Hi Cielo , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Cielo. Also known as Lowrider girl AZ or my friends call me low. I am 25 years old, born and raised in Arizona.married I am the oldest out of five siblings and I’m in college I started in the Lowrider scene as someone who was looking for a way to get out of the house. It turned into me doing Lowrider photography, and then that open doors I worked at Barrio clothing for a while great place amazing owners then I met the amazing live ride magazine crew where I met Britt aka 5150 she became my best friend started helping me open doors for myself. Then she asked me to be her cohost in vendor vision podcast and I just started going from there I met a whole bunch of amazing people. I opened up a lemonade business. I started putting myself out there more and then I started doing plus size Lowrider modeling because I wanted to make a difference for the women out there who feel like they are not enough to be models or to feel pretty enough I kept it modest, and I wanted to show the world that big women can be models too. I also run a body positivity movement so I try to make everybody feel their best when it comes to their self image that has a lot to go to play of why I ended up getting into college. I’m going to college for massage therapy to help people feel better about themselves by doing self-care and I have more to learn. I have more to offer and I have more doors that I am looking to open.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It is not been a smooth road at all. I have lost a lot of people in my life a lot of friends that I no longer have a part of my life since any of this started I’ve had my trials and tribulations of getting into my own head, thinking that what I was doing, was not enough or was not worth it or anything but I guess when it comes to like businesses and putting yourself out there you end up giving yourselves the worst criticism you can and I think that’s what happened but I am doing a lot better. I’m working on it. I’m praying about it. I am putting myself out there in waves that I never thought I would be.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Me personally I’m known for being LowRider girl AZ im known for my karaoke for my body positivity movements for my wanting to make sure that everybody is OK making sure that no matter what anybody’s going through that they are gonna be OK andthe thing that I’m most proud of is going back to school being in college working on myself I don’t think I have anything that sets me apart from others. I’m just me.
