An Inspired Chat with Chloe Bee of Tempe

We recently had the chance to connect with Chloe Bee and have shared our conversation below.

Chloe, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
A new customer that was instantly a regular reviewed us publicly with this feedback, ” Chloe I am not even kidding you are changing so many lives with your beautiful apothecary and the space that you have created is soooo needed especially now!! ❤️ I instantly feel at peace and right at home!!!”

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
At Rainbow Bliss Botanicals, we are dedicated to providing transformative wellness experiences through ethically sourced, organic, and locally harvested botanicals. Our mission is to offer a wide range of herbal products and services that enrich, enhance, and elevate the lives of all humans. Whether through our herbal creations in our café, intimate consultations, or community-focused events, we create memorable and magical experiences designed to nurture the body, mind, and spirit. We are committed to accessibility, sustainability, and the loving kindness that guides every interaction with our customers and community.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
People are torn apart by physical pain. If someone is suffering from intense back pain and they use a substance or medicine to manage that pain.. or mental pain, like PTSD, that substance and thus, that pain, can put people into shame and shadow and slowly break people apart. Camaraderie, sobriety (or a bridge towards sobriety (like kratom!) can bring people together. Trauma-informed communication styles can bring people together…. Being tender and focused on our roles as herbalist and bridges to plant medicine can bring people together. That is our lens at Rainbow Bliss.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering is a feedback loop. Misery and pity and embarrassment.. it is all a feedback loop. I have been in the most dark, shocked and lost places as a single mom and also as a business owner being burned and used when I didn’t see it coming. People seem to justify taking advantage of me because, “I’ll be fine.”
Just because I keep going, and choose the light, doesn’t mean I don’t feel shattered and enraged at how selfish people can be. You can hand someone a golden platter, and structure to succeed, and the opportunity to grow but if they don’t want it, that is something that I cannot change. If I am rejected, those people are not meant for me. Stop giving too much, reel it in and keep going. We have to keep going. Plant medicine to the masses is essential.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
The wellness industry loves fads and trends.. Like one herb is an overnight cure all. There’s buzz on herbs, which I am so grateful for, but there has to be foundational lifestyle shifts in order for herbs to work their magic. Slow down, tune in, feel. Herbs work best when they are consumed with reverence and intention. Not just another pill to swallow.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
My tinctures, formulas and aphrodisiacs! Pheww the amount of reviews and repeat buyers I get with our Cockstar, Her Majestea, No Cramps blend, Amethyst Blessing stress relief tincture, Multiple Orgasm Mocha, and Power Builder truly have a following!
