So, before we jump into specific questions about the practice, why don’t you give our readers a few quick bullet points about you and your story.
-2007 Graduate from ASU in Construction Management
-Joined Rysso Peters in 2008
-Bought in Ownership in 2011
-Grew Rysso Peters from 9 employees in 2008 to over 50 employees in 2018.
-Rysso Peters Sales grew from 1.1 million to over 4.5 million
-Started Highborn Cabinetry in 2016 Currently Employing 11 but drastically growing

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
After the market crashed I found myself struggling to get sales. So instead of waiting around for the market to rebound, I decided to begin bidding work outside the AZ market. We continued to grow at a rate of 25% during the downturn. We really focused on the client experience from our bid presentation to our final installation… Everything had to be up to our quality standards.

Once the grow began the stress and struggles increased. Jugging everything from lack of manufacturing space, lack of training to quality issues. Once the business goes to my 4-4.5 mill per year goal I was able to slow the growth and focus on our processes. It took about 3 years of implementing new processes and procedures before it was a profitable and smooth venture.
