Check Out Vi Garza’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vi Garza.

Hi Vi, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Alex first approached me about this project in November 2024. At the time, I had only ever participated in student short films, and most of my acting experience came from the stage. However, Alex had such immense faith in me and encouraged me throughout the process. I learned so much working with him and am very proud of his finished work!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I think I ended up being my own biggest challenge. I was quite self-criticial and nervous going in to my first professional film, but Alex, Livvy, and the cast and crew all helped me feel safe enough to take risks and explore while on set.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am currently a Musical Theatre major at SCC, and that is what I tend to perform the most. I most recently played Alice Spencer in Alice by Heart. I love singing and dancing, but I think what sets me apart from others in my field is my passion for and dedication to the art of acting.

What does success mean to you?
Success to me is all about happiness and fulfillment
