Chase and Andrea Westen, (husband and wife) founders of RX INK, are both pharmacists who were looking to take their adventures to the next level. In 2017, they decided to purchase ‘Crazy Cactus Tattoo’, previously known as ‘EZ Tattoo’, and make it their own. The vision is to be a new and modern tattoo brand with a team of artists who strive to give tattoos that their clients will wear with pride for years to come. Chase is also a director of 2 hospital pharmacies. He has always been in the business world and enjoys multiple different avenues of business. Has it been a smooth road?
Of course not, when we bought this business we tried to do as much research as possible but there were very little records to be had. We recognized the risk but were still naive about how many falsehoods were being given to us. The artists we work with have been our saving grace! With our business knowledge and their artistic abilities, we are becoming a success!

We are a tattoo studio in Scottsdale, AZ that does what others won’t… Everything. We don’t just serve those that want a full back piece, we serve everyone who wants a tattoo. Everything big or small can have a powerful meaning to people and we want to be a part of their story. We don’t try to overcharge people or tell them we only do one kind of art. We do tattoos that you will be proud of and tell your friends you got it at Rx Ink.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Of Course. We love Scottsdale. I wish we were able to advertise easier within our local community but some of the signage restrictions are pretty stringent.
