Hi Joana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I’ve always been very passionate about decorating for parties. Every birthday that we celebrated for my (now) 8-year-old daughter was very elaborate because I have always enjoyed planning every small detail for them. When the pandemic hit, my daughter and her best friend kept talking about having a sleepover party; that’s when the idea of opening a sleepover party business came to my mind. After talking to my husband, Simon, we decided to start a party planning business that focused (initially) on sleepover parties. My vision became to create magical memories for families all over the valley.
After a few months of starting the business, one of our clients asked if we could plan a picnic event for her and her friends. We loved the idea and began setting up and decorating picnic events. We have since continued expanding our horizons and are now doing more than just sleep-overs parties and picnics; we now offer balloons, full party set-ups, backdrops, table decorations, and more. We just love making peoples’ party dreams come to life.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like many other businesses, we’ve had our struggles. At the beginning, it was difficult making a name for ourselves. It was also challenging to earn people’s trust being new to the industry. We’ve had to learn to market our business with little to no past marketing experience.

-We love being creative and making unique and special experiences for our customers.
-We have created a variety of phenomenal curated party themes to fit our customers’ party visions.
-We also have the option to create custom themes when our customers just cannot quite find the right fit within our curated themes.

We are proud of our ability to tailor our services to fit our customers’ vision. We are also proud of our attention to detail, thoroughness, and exceptional customer service. Without knowing it then, we started our business early on, while planning parties for our oldest daughter, and we carry that love and dedication to every setup that we make.
