Meet Jordan Holley of Pressure.az in Central

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Holley.

Jordan, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
You can say faith! I met my dad at the age of 14. I’ve come a long way and have so much more walls to knockdown. I never want to get too comfortable, I’m always ready to learn new things and where I was raised in Florida & Alabama just didn’t feel like really fit me. So I moved to Arizona my senior year of high school to play basketball, my cousin had talked me into moving and playing with him. As a kid I went from sport to sport excelling but also kinda lost interest fast as well so I always had something else to do.

After high school is really when things got really good and then again had its bad side. I was new to the state but everyone somehow knew me. I guess my cousin put in a good word. His name is Malique Washington, most know. Anyways lost interest in the game I still watch and hoop around but on a serious note it’s not there for me and I use to let that get to me cause it was a dream of mine I really couldn’t grasp so I feel like never just have one dream, have so many dreams you feel like you’re on a cloud. I’m 6’2, a dope artist, song-writer and model and won’t ever stop creating and manifesting my dreams.

Has it been a smooth road?
I feel like it could’ve been smoother but God did what was needed for me to be as strong as I am now. Meeting my dad at 14 was exciting but had a toll on me while I was a kid when the real dad wasn’t there but I thought was this whole time. So I was confused for a bit but definitely came out strong. Being a bad environment and being able not to do anything as well. Coming from a small town just put unnecessary boundaries around me and my family that really wasn’t needed which caused stress through time. Never think you have it bad cause someone always has it worse.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Pressure.az it’s a new clothing brand we specialize in lifestyle clothing entertainment, sports, etc. but all with PRESSURE from the name to the socks. I’m proud it’s still going it had its rough paths in the beginning but what business doesn’t. The vision I have for pressure really sets me and my business apart cause the audience sees and loves it.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Having a clothing business would be a great way to not only learn business but actually be hands-on with everything going on from logos to shipment. The city could use more team effort, more production from the artist and ones not having jobs and whatnot.
