Today we’d like to introduce you to Ron Ellett.
Ron, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
After graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in History, I dove straight into creating and branding my real estate service. I would substitute teach on the side to supplement my income just so that I could continue to perfect my skills and cement my name as a professional agent in a time where there were over 50,000 other agents in Arizona. That was my beginning. Now I am humbled to say that I can handle my business full-time!
Has it been a smooth road?
There have been plenty of hiccups, setbacks, and failures along the way – and I know that there will continue to be! The path that I chose is not an easy one and I struggled especially when I first started out. I didn’t earn any return on my business for over four months and I was working very hard every day. I struggled financially, I struggled with branding my business, I struggled with learning the plethora of skills which being a professional agent required. All of these challenges have made me into the person I am today and I am thankful for that!
So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Brokery – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The Brokery brand strives to become the go-to neighborhood experts when it comes to residential real estate. We have “Relentlessly Local” written on the wall in our office! What sets The Brokery apart is our commitment to our local community by promoting local businesses, charities, and our local housing market. We are also a very small agency and seek to keep things boutique.
I am proud to say that I made the decision to run a referral-based service. What this means is that I want to do such an amazing job for my clients that they would want to tell their friends and family about me. This approach to business will take time but it resonates with me on a personal level and certainly sets me apart.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Oh wow. Great question. The thing that I like best about our city are the endless opportunities we have to find something to do. Whether it is dining at a fantastic restaurant, hiking, concerts, enjoying the sunsets, or finding a way to get involved with the community. I am absolutely convinced that there is something in our city for everyone!
The thing that I like least about our city is the rush hour traffic. Yuck.
