Today we’d like to introduce you to Johanna Flores.
Johanna, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It all started for me six years ago when I started living my purpose as a Personal Trainer. My mission to help individuals improve their quality of life through exercise and discover their strengths mentally and physically. And help those individuals become a better version of themselves. In all these years of training, it’s been an amazing feeling to be able to help so many people of all ages with their personalized fitness goals from age 10 years old to 86 years old. It’s a blessing to be able to do this every day and meet so many amazing people! Last year I decided that I wanted to create my Fitness clothing brand. A brand that would represent me as a proud CHICANA and that people also would connect with and would feel proud to wear as well.I brainstormed put all my ideas together, created my logo and had my vision set! Bringing a fit lifestyle and culturá together. FIT HOMEGIRLS was created! I was ready and I released it in January of 2019. The support has been amazing from AZ, other states, even as far out as Canada! I have met so many amazing local women entrepreneurs since I started FIT HOMEGIRLS that I know call Amigas. I’m so excited for what is to come!
Has it been a smooth road?
I am blessed enough to have amazing support and people that believe in me! The road has been pretty smooth since I started as a Personal trainer and business owner.I understand that it may not always be this way but I know that I will never give up on Myself and my dreams.

I am the owner of a studio gym in Mesa, AZ and the creator of FIT HOMEGIRLS. I specialize in helping women feel strong and empowered through exercise. I am most proud that my company is own by me, a MEXICAN AMERICAN WOMAN. What sets me apart from others is my authenticity to myself and who I AM.
