Today we’d like to introduce you to James “STRAT” Dale, Jr.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been a musician and artist for over 10 years, however, I’ve been extremely dedicated and serious about it as a career for the last 6 years. After undergoing a major personal life change, I decided to resume creating music, but on a higher level. Meaning that I was going to start an actual company and go full on legit. After doing the research and raising the capital needed, I officially went into business, beginning Stratland Entertainment LLC.
Patience, discipline, hard work, smart work, knowledge, experience, work ethic, and talent has gotten me to where I am today. I am thankful for the journey and look forward to even more growth.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been easy, by any means…but that’s the beauty of it. In the sense that it allows you to grow and learn along the way.
Some struggles have been being able to remain competitive in a crowded, oversaturated marketplace without sacrificing the brand’s identity. Also, it can get very difficult juggling many hats within the business while still working a “day” job and balancing life. But the dream keeps you going.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a recording artist as well as the CEO of Stratland Entertainment LLC.
We specialize in releasing music to the public for consumption, with plans to expand further into the entertainment world. I am most proud of the fact that we are still going forward and growing more and more with every new release.
What sets us apart is the fact that we are a breath of fresh air in today’s music industry. Because we are original, different, and not afraid to be ourselves. It is real music for real people.
Our mantra is… Expression, Excellence, Entertainment… A Style of Life.
What makes you happy?
Creating makes me happy. Because it is therapeutic and an amazing feeling to be able to express myself thru my art, which is my music.
It’s great to be able to tell my story, my perspective, my experiences, and my viewpoints thru my lens with no filter, then put it out into the world. All the while entertaining, expressing, and inspiring others. I love it.
