Meet Dr. Lee Laris of Phoenix Skin Dermatology in Central Phoenix and Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Lee Laris.

Dr. Laris, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Moved to Phoenix in 1991 after my dermatology residency to open up practice in Medical, Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology. Over the years as Phoenix grew, we grew. Adding more office space until we arrived at where we are today. We have dermatology locations in Central Phoenix as well as North Scottsdale and a Medical Spa in Central Phoenix as well.

Has it been a smooth road?
The challenges in the beginning were not only letting people know that we existed, but convincing people we were good at what we do. That all happened organically with word of mouth and referrals from existing satisfied patients. Soon we were seeing entire families, friends of patients and sometimes even multiple neighbors from the same street.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Phoenix Skin Dermatology – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a full service Medical, Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology Practice. Anything to do with skin, hair or nails like acne, skin cancer, moles, rashes we have experience in. As well as the latest in Cosmetic and Esthetic services such as fillers, Botox, mini face lifts, eyelid surgery, laser services, micro needling, facials and much more.

We are most proud of the fact we have been named by Ranking Arizona, Voted #1 Dermatologist, The Best of Arizona Business Award, 2013 – 2017 and Dr. Laris Voted #1 Dermatologist by Arizona Foothills Magazine, 2015 & 2016

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The thing I like most about Phoenix is although we are the 5th largest city in the US we still have a small town feel.

There’s plenty to do, great places to eat and relatively little traffic. It’s also a great base for travel as you can be at a beach or skiing on a mountain within a few hours.

The thing I like least is that there is no good downtown walking district like in other large cities.
