Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Hass.
Kevin, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always been a lover of art in all forms and I have been a passionate photographer most of my life but never looked at it as a way to make a living until a little while ago when my doctor told me I had some medical issues that made working my normal jobs impossible to do. So not getting help from the government to get disability I needed to do something to survive so I started in the world of photography as a business. I am also doing stand-up comedy to fulfill my want and need for better life and to bring more enjoyment to the world.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh no! First thing that everyone should know in life is nothing is smooth or easy and that’s not a bad thing it challenges you to do better to want more in your life. If you want smooth and easy just get a 9 to 5 job or whatever something you don’t have to do anything more than your told to do.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Venus Studios Art Photography – what should we know?
Let’s see what do I do well everything, I’m the owner, the photographer, the artist, the designer of the wall art, clothes and gifts that are on sale through my online store for my photography art and the operator of my online store as well. I’m most proud of being able to give the world my artistic view on the beauty that is still in the world even with all the bad the world has in it. There is still a lot of beauty that we need to see to hopefully drive the ugly out in life.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I always said if it wasn’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all. I ended up with a bunch of medical problems that made it to were I couldn’t work a normal job so in this case I guess my bad luck turned my passion for photography into a new life for me to enjoy, but it has been my drive and wanting of something more for myself that pushed me to do what I needed to do to get more out of my life.
