Today we’d like to introduce you to David Nguyen, Jack London, Jack Ducey, Daniel Turley.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Two of the co-founders Jack London and Daniel Turley have been best friends since High School and making music together for over ten years. After honing their craft with their other friend, Vannah Pereda, and getting discovered by record producer London On Da Track, all three were on the way to making their mark in the music business. After a brief stint with London On Da Track and working with artists like the Chain Smokers, Pink Sweatz, and Vannah’s new EP, they all decided to go back to Arizona and re-route the direction they were going. After a chance meeting with the third co-founder David Nguyen, a Phoenix-based entrepreneur, they decided to start Crescent Room Music.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The journey has been great but we have had bumps in the road like everyone else. Jack London and Dan have been producing and writing music over ten years for all types of artists. Working with London on Da Track was a great opportunity but it did not work out due to creative differences. David Nguyen had a brief stint with legendary Producer/Singer Babyface’s camp in the late 90s, early 2000s and put his musical endeavors on hold due to starting a family. After moving studios and finally deciding to build our own private studio in midtown, we are finally ready to show the world what Crescent Room Music can do.
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
Crescent Room Music is a record label/artist management company. We specialize in Pop/R&B music but also have done hip hop, alternative, country. We have started to work with many aspiring artists and some seasoned vets (Chain Smokers, Pink Sweats, B. Howard) We are proud to be working with all artists and getting them to realize their potential and making good music. We like to push the boundaries and work with different types of sounds and incorporate them into songs.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are releasing an EP for Vannah Pereda this year. Her new single, Toy Story, will be released on 2020 so we are very excited about that. That song was remixed by DJ Bijou and it is fire! It will be a great introduction for her to the EDM world. There is also a song Dan and Vannah worked on with Bardz, a Relentless Beats artist. They all co-wrote the song and Vannah sings the vocal on the upcoming release. One of the independent artists we manage, B.Howard is also releasing a new song in the next few months as well and playing some shows overseas in China. It should be a busy year for us just from them two alone.
