Today we’d like to introduce you to Daune Thompson.
Daune currently resides in Scottsdale, AZ., she grew up in Colorado and several states throughout the Southwest and Midwest. Daune holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and is a Certified Life Coach.
She has an extensive fitness background and has taught at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Dow Chemical. Following an extensive fitness career and teaching at the university level, Daune became Director of Training and Development for a national speakers bureau while developing training programs and customizing employee-relations courses for Fortune 500 companies (i.e. Kimberly Clark Corp., Menasha Corp, etc.).
Daune’s entrepreneurial talent includes successfully owning and operating businesses in the beauty, wellness, and self-help industries. In addition to Daune’s coaching and speaking practices, her extensive experience expands to the beauty industry. While she owned Salon Dor hair salon, she developed programs designed to build confidence from the inside out.
This unique expertise provides her with the strong foundation needed for an effective and results-driven life coach and personal mentor. At the same time, authoring three self-empowerment books, I Deserve It, Drama Detox & Balls- Building Balanced Relationships. As a coach, Daune is powerful and direct in her ability to liberate people from their limitations and fears.
Daune’s coaching talents focus on areas of relationships, life purpose, and personal & professional growth. She is on a mission to raise the self-worth of others by guiding them to create balance, clarity, and success in their lives. Daune conducts personal coaching for clients across the country as well as facilitating “I Deserve it Self-Mastery” Courses/seminars monthly. She empowers individuals daily to remove roadblocks that hinder them from their greatest potential encouraging them to live the life they deserve.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Raising two daughters to be strong while teaching them the balance of nurturing and values as well. Being a single mom for a long time was a lot to balance yet, it’s because I was told I couldn’t have it all that made me even more determined.
it’s why “Can’t is a Swear Word” in my book Drama Detox. I had to learn to not accept social norms and societal rules that said you were either a stay-at-home mom or a career-minded and said ill make my own rules to have both.
I had health issues as well that snuck up and was grateful for my health degree helping me dig deep and research all options of natural healing for myself and my girls. It made me so much stronger knowing I had my health in my hands, giving me even more personal power.

The most rewarding part of consulting & coaching: is “Validating others’ gifts and strengths when they feel lost and challenged. It’s such a blessing to show others how brilliant and beautiful they truly are, even when they can’t see it.”
It’s a blessing to show others how truly beautiful they are. Many of my tools like astrology are a bit unconventional, yet, so liberating to clients in need of guidance, it’s now just part of a daily session. Astrology is simply having access to their personal blueprint and showing them how to read it. Many are unsure until about 10 minutes into the first session and then they seem to relax and open like a flower to the sun, feeling warmth and truth.
Astrology is a powerful way to gain greater self-awareness and ultimately understand how we connect with others. Reading a client’s astrological chart during our first session together sets up immediate trust and respect when they see what I can help them see within, validating that even though they may have just met me, I already know so much about them!
“Showing people that the universe is influencing their vibration in some way tends to be comforting and validating in their soul”. Utilizing astrology as a coaching tool gives me a broader view of what is happening in a clients’ life— in both the past and present. My approach is simple and direct, allowing for fast progress without losing authentic connection.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t believe in luck.
I believe in you get what you are not what you want. We are all energy and frequency that express ourselves like magnets. you will attract another magnet at the same frequency. So it serves you to be aware of the sonar you are sending out because it will come back to you in the same form.
Self-awareness is a superpower. If you know who you are and make changes to become who you want to be matching the life you deserve, you don’t need luck.
