Meet Casey Adams of Build Your Empire & Rise of The Young in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Casey Adams.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
When I was 15 years old, I got diagnosed with interspinous ligament damage while playing football. This injury changed the direction of my life, and during the six months while I was in a neck brace my life changed forever. While I was in my neck brace, I wasn’t able to move around a lot, and that is when I got introduced to personal development. After spending months reading books and gaining a positive attitude towards life, I began learning about the power of social media. I decided to start building a personal brand, and three years later, I can say that it has truly changed my life forever. After traveling all of the world speaking on stages about personal branding, I’ve realized that we have so much power by the way we position ourselves online.

At the end of 2017, I decided to start a podcast called, “Rise of The Young,” and since then, I’ve had the opportunity to sit down and interview some of the worlds most successful entrepreneurs & leaders. Throughout this time, I’ve been able to impact millions of lives through my content & podcasts. My podcast is a top 200 business podcast, and I feel so honored to have such an amazing community of people listening to my content. My company Build Your Empire is all about showcasing world-class entrepreneurs through our content & events. I’ve found a passion for hosting events, and just recently, I have the opportunity to co-host an event with Chris “Drama” Pfaff who is the founder and CEO of “Young & Reckless.” After throwing dozens of business events all across the world, one of the biggest things I’ve learned is that there is power in bringing people together. I’ve been partnered with an app MOTI Chat for over a year now, and we are the #1 consulting app in the world. Our peer to peer consulting app is truly changing the way consultants & business professionals get paid for their time. It has been a pleasure building with the team at MOTI, and I look forward to the future. Build Your Empire is focused on revolutionizing the business event industry, and we look forward to having you apart of our community.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Some of my struggles along the way have been internal. Going through high school as an entrepreneur made me realize the power of where I spend my time. Running a company while going to school helped me learn time management. I remember getting my phone taken away while in math class, and the teacher had no idea that I was texting a client of mine about our Facebook ad campaign. Another challenge of mine was learning when to say NO to opportunities. As an entrepreneur, you’re introduced to so many opportunities and learning to say NO has truly impacted my life. One other challenge throughout my journey has been knowing when to distance myself from people. You must know when to let go, and when to move on from a situation or an individual.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Build Your Empire & Rise of The Young story. Tell us more about it.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I believe that being born when I was is “luck” in that I have grown up in such a thriving economy, and technology is so accessible to anybody nowadays. Having access to the technology we have today is such a blessing, and I believe that being born when I did is true luck. Also, being born into such a caring family is what I define true luck as. Having a support system of people who truly care about you is the most important asset I have, and I attribute that to luck.
