Hi Dr. Mack, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I am a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor who specializes in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, specifically hormone pellet therapy. I am in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona where I help thousands of patients achieve optimal hormone balance, safely.
I am passionate about preventative medicine and part of preventing disease and age-related disease is preventing unnecessary hormone decline. I started this journey of becoming a hormone specialist towards the end of my medical school career where I was exposed to the benefits of bioidentical hormones and their impact on health and well-being. I became passionate about helping patients in this important part of their health and have continued to keep that a focus in my practice today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I find the biggest obstacle and challenge to helping my patients achieve hormone balance is misinformation about the safety and efficacy of hormone therapy. There is a lot of misinformation about the safety of hormone therapy that is simply not true but sways the opinion of many patients who fear hormone replacement may be dangerous for them.
Bioidentical hormones are the safest and most effective form of hormone therapy available and are far superior to synthetic non-bioidentical forms of hormone therapy, which can cause harm. Educating patients on the differences between different types and forms of hormone therapy available to them is part of my mission as a physician and I hope to help as many patients as I can in this endeavor.

I feel lucky that I have chosen to make my passion to help others a reality through my medical practice.
There are so many aspects of my life that make me happy outside of helping my patients in the office. I have a wonderful family and husband with whom I spend most of my time with. I am happiest when spending time with family, traveling, exercising, and working on excelling in some of my hobbies such as horseback riding, knitting, painting, etc… I am always picking up something new to learn and enjoy the challenges that come along with working towards new goals.
