For Isaac Martinez, launching the Haute Shots Podcast was about giving voice to the creatives who make fashion shows come alive beyond the spotlight. Rooted in Arizona’s fashion scene and fueled by authenticity, the podcast captures the real journeys of models, designers, and artists—highlighting collaboration, resilience, and community. With organic growth across platforms and standout moments interviewing industry leaders on major fashion stages, Isaac envisions Haute Shots as a connective hub where fashion creatives share their stories and build meaningful momentum together.
Isaac, you launched Haute Shots Podcast in April 2025—what inspired you and your co‑host to create a platform focused specifically on the fashion show community?
The inspiration came from being a part of the fashion show community here in Arizona for almost 5 years. I’ve met tons of amazing and talented people, from filming countless fashion shows to hanging out at networking events with likeminded creatives. Everybody involved has a story on how they reached the moment of being on the runway, whether it be the models, fashion designers, fashion directors, makeup artists etc. Our goal is to bring as much value from actively driven people pursuing their goals in the fashion show scene so they can inspire others through their struggles and experiences to motivate those who want to do what they do in this niche.
You and Colleen interview everyone from models and designers to makeup artists and show directors—what have you learned about the behind‑the‑scenes reality of the runway that surprised you most?
The biggest thing I’ve learned is how open everyone in this community is to helping others. For a lot of the people involved, this represents years of work, and everyone collaborates to support each other and always give their best. That’s why Haute Shots was created, to document the reality behind the spotlight, not just the final walk.
Season 2 marked your official launch and included interviews during New York Fashion Week, including a standout guest, Patricia Pinto of LaCreme—how did that experience elevate the podcast?
The experience was huge, not only did we get invited out by LaCreme to film their fashion show and podcast with Patricia after, we got invited out by 2 other production companies as well. This was a big needle mover in the sense that Haute Shots “made it out of Arizona”. Bringing up Haute Shots in every conversation at the events and network nights, people were excited to learn more about what we do. This trip, along with all the content we filmed, helped in many ways but 1 big one is creating a pitch deck that serves as proof of concept. This deck covers the entire process, from filming shows, to talking on podcasts, and showcasing real footage of the show.
With rapid organic growth across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram and no early shoutouts, what do you think has resonated most with your growing audience?
I believe what resonated the most is the authenticity and value provided. Real people in the scene sharing their real experiences.
As you head into Season 3 and prepare to return to NYFW in September, what’s your bigger vision for Haute Shots and the community you’re building around it?
There’s a lot to this question but one of the visions behind Haute Shots is to be the platform where creatives in the fashion scene can share their stories. In today’s social media world connection is key and we strive to help build our guests’ audience through our level of production.
