We’re looking forward to introducing you to Stone -Linda Colebank . Check out our conversation below.
Stone -Linda , really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
I don’t know that’s a good question because all are very important to me No lie I can’t really pick just one . I will say I am a huge energy person and I intelligence is importance as well Now I think on it one is not more important than the others. They are all important.trick question lol .
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Linda Colebank .(Stone ) I am a licensed massage therapist with 14 years of experience. I help others heal and feel better through my techniques of therapeutic massage .My business is called Body Retreat , every single human body needs a retreat from daily living . I am certified in some trauma sarga ,lymphatic , myofascia and soon will be adding cranial sacral to my modalities.I do plan to strengthen my trainings in trauma and the nervous system as well . My goal is to go deeper lol not elbows deep but more deeper advanced work with the human body. I aim to continue to help others heal .My heart is with everyone who hurts especially for my community as well
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
My father taught me the most about work by being an example. He was a very committed hard working individual. He never missed a day of work only if he was sick that he was unable to get out of bed .I will tell you he only missed work once in his life He was a rancher/farmer/mechanic. That work was important to be independent and self sufficient.Good hearted man he was very kind hearted He was always doing something.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
Three are many lol ,I lost my dad was the most challenging one for me , one of my little brothers that was rough and. many beautiful friends due to addictions I heal through the elements mainly water and air .I also do meditations and other spiritual acts to assist me , a good cry helps too from time to time if it’s necessary The best thing is to know they are all with me .
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
Honesty I am my own biggest project, to keep pushing forward to be best version of myself
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
I like this question I feel most at peace in nature and with music..
